Rethink and Brach’s set out to help consumers with one of the most frustrating part of eating candy canes – how to get through the plastic without making a mess. The resolution was The Cane Opener (Patent pending. No, actually).

Designed from scratch in the US and dropped in two limited batches, it sold out in less than a minute each time. It got picked up by major publications like the Food Network and Trend Hunter, and people immediately resold them on Ebay for 20x the price.
